Hillary Clinton is back in the news, and this time she was made as Secretary of State by President-elect Barack Obama. It’s good knowing that my bet for this year’s presidential elections is in the thick of things once again. Senator Clinton will serve as the secretary of state, and the person who will lead the United States in foreign affairs. The president-elect has kind words for his former rival, saying that the Senator has ‘extraordinary intelligence and toughness’. President Bush’s secretary of defense will stay on with his job. It was said that Obama’s process of selecting his team of advisers is similar to the one used by then President Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln was known to have collected his ‘team of rivals’ and hired advisers who did not agree with him in some issues. He did that in order to her conflicting views. Clinton must be confirmed by the Senate.
