Hillary takes centerstage

August 27, 2008

My fave primary presidential contender takes the stage at the Democrats convention. What will you say madame? Am still waiting for the former first lady to speak and in the meantime I’m rushing my contents and so that this will be ready for the weekend, and also updating my other freelance writing gigs.  And while doing that I’m tuned to FoxNews and I when I woke up it was Bill O’Reilly’s show on Fox. Now, is that Hannity? What time will her speech starts?

The speech is over and yes, the FoxNews is on it again to over-analyze the speech of Clinton. Haha. But then why am I still watching this?

DNC Convention starts

August 26, 2008

The Democratic Party’s national convention starts today in Denver Colorado, but hey I’m thousand miles away from that country and not even a citizen so why bother? In fact when I was still with company who kicked us out unceremoniously, my officemate and I followed the primaries as if we were part of Hillary Clinton’s core supporters in the States. It was the Super Tuesday and we monitored many news sites to know where we stand. As state by state announced the results, we were alarmed. At the end of the day we consoled ourselves by the fact that Clinton held the lead in the SuperDs. But we all know that was the start of the erosion of her base.
