Eheads concert, Take 2

On with the ‘Final Set’ as the band’s next concert is tentatively called. Remember the Eraserheads concert that went pfft last time, well the fans of this famous and iconic Philippine band is set to perform once again and this time promises to satisfy what their fans want. Ely’s health, which was the reason why the first reunion concert was abruptly ended was given  ago-signal by his doctors. This concert set for March is backed by two companies, MTV Philippines and Smart Buddy.  The concert if this will push thru will be the band’s second biggest reunion concert. The concert, based on reports will be held March 7 this year and will be hosted at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

Since I am a fan, then I would love to check out the concert next month, but the price for tickets is a bit too high for me. Ticketworld have posted on its site that the VIP ticket is pegged at 5,000 and the Gold is 3,000, Silver at 1,500 and the Bronze at 300. I wonder how many meters I will be far off if I get the 300 worth ticket, no?

Eheads singer doing okay

Pinoy music icon Ely Buendia is in stable condition. That’s according to the wife of the singer, Diane Ventura. This should be good news to everyone who are following the condition of the music icon. The singer was rushed to the Makati Medical Center late Saturday night in the middle of theic concert. After a few hours, he was transferred to the Philippine Heart Center for further medical attention. The latest news have it that Ely Buendia underwent another angioplasty surgery Monday morning.  The singer had a previous heart attack last year and he also underwent two angioplasty procedure at the Philippine Heart Center. According to the doctors, the singer has a history of heart disease in his family and he is genetically predisposed to it.

The reunion concert of the country’s iconic band was cut short when frontman Ely Buendia was rushed to the hospital. Based on unconfirmed reports, the singer suffered a heart attack. The reunion concert of the band was held at the Bonifacio Global City open field. It was the singer’s sister who announced the condition of Ely Buendia.
