CNN’s hologram

November 5, 2008

Have you seen the network’s coverage?  Cute, no? One reporter on hologram projected inside the studio talking to the anchor, I think Wolf Blitzer? Well what can I say, in a bid to outdo the other networks CNN premiered this technology. I don’t know, at first it was cute but something is no longer right after a few moments when I begin to use my brain. =p

Technology has really changed, but I think it’s over the top. All done just to be on top of the game. Give me balanced reporting with no bias and I’ll be happy. News websites are gearing up for an Obama win, here’s one.

Media has favored Obama-study

November 1, 2008

Just today, the highly opinionated Bill O’Reilly of the O’Reilly Factor says that MSNBC as the most biased station in the US right now. Now here’s another study that suggests that McCain did not receive the fair media treatment from the media. So this is the Hillary Clinton complaint all over again. The new survey was conducted by the Center for Media and Public Affairs, and the survey looked at the coverage made by ABC, CBS and NBC. For the last two months, the evening newscasts in these channels reflected positively on Obama 65 percent of the time. For McCain? The senator from Arizona got 31 percent. Of the three stations, ABC submitted the more balanced coverage.

McCain losing it?

October 27, 2008

Right after my fave Hillary Clinton has dropped out of the race, my attention shifted to John McCain. And it seems that McCain is set to lose as well. Well what is happening to my choices? At the homestretch of the campaign, Obama leads McCain by an average of 8 percentage points in national polls. So is this a coronation of sort for the Democratic candidate? Well I think that he has already been coronated by the media and those ‘objective’ media practitioners in the US.  At least, ‘change’ is now at hand for the people there. Let’s just wait and see what kind of change will that be. After all the intoxicating sweet words, let’s sit back relax and see the real action, no?

McCain suspends campaign

September 25, 2008

Republican presidential candidate John McCain suspended his campaign. What he is up to? Well based on the news that were posted on the net, the suspension of the campaign was linked to the desire to tackle first the economy recovery plan in Congress. So what happens now, and what does this mean to his opponent? The Democratic presidential candidate questioned the timing of the announcement of McCain. If a case like this happens in this country, will a presidential candidate also suspends his campaign around three months before election just to help fix the economy?  Exactly. Just what I thought.
